Redz Hair Design was opened on March 5th 2011 and specializes in bridal hair carrying out extensive courses in Upstyling,Colouring, Cutting etc.
Deirdre Conroy:
Deirdre worked as a senior Tutor with the Connaught College of Hairdressing for 2 and half years where she trained all levels of Hairdressing to Students from all around Ireland.
Deirdre worked in Australia with a well know hairdressing company that had 120 salons where she had the privilege in training in hair extensions and working with Highly Qualified Senior Stylists that had advanced training and experience in all aspects of hairdressing.
Deirdre also worked as a Senior Stylist for 6 years prior to opening her business.
Deirdre only 12 months ago was awarded a Masters Colour Degree through ALFAPARF MILANO Academy Ireland.
Deirdre recently completed an intense advanced cutting and colouring course being delivered by the founder of Saco academies all over the world Mr Richard Ashfort and his amazing creative director Brett and Senior colour technician Sam in London.

Kung Fanning :
Kung qualified 2010, working with us almost 2 years.. She is an up and coming stylist at Redz Hair Design. Kung holds qualifications in full level 2 City&Guilds Certification along with courses carried out in foundation and advanced Upstyling, Colour and Cutting courses.
Kung is a very creative and artistic stylist with a natural flair for working with hair.
Kung recently completed an advanced cutting course delivered by Alan Keville.

Katie Hanley:
Katie qualified 2007 having trained with the Connaught College of Hairdressing. Katie is working with us almost 1 year and is one of our Top Stylists.
Katie has undergone training courses delivered by Alan Keville, Sean Taffe, Lisa Harkin to name but a few. She enjoys 'learning new skills as there always something new on the street'.

Aisling Delaney :
Aisling started out on work experience with Redz 2 years ago and joined the team just over a year ago having completed 2 years in Sligo College of Further Education and gaining accreditation in level 2 City & Guilds IVQ Diploma in Hairdressing, she has also gained a fetac level 5 and junior trades.
Aisling has also completed Steps 1, 2 and 3 of the Alfaparf colouring courses, a 4 day Classic cutting through CHC, Upstyling with Lisa Harking and Martha Galvin and a upstyling course in MOHH.
Aisling is currently undergoing a course in Salon Creative Cutting with Alan Keville.

Amy McDonagh :
Amy works part-time and is with Redz 14 months. During this time Amy has completed Steps 1 and 2 of Alfaparf colouring courses, Upstyling course with Martha Galvin, Blow drying course with CHC and an advanced Upstyling course with Lisa Harkin.

Shauna Morley :
Shauna is our Beauty Therapist and MUA (Make Up Artist) at The Beauty Bar. Shauna trained with Georgina Price at the Beauty College Galway. Shauna has over 12 years experience in beauty therapy. She is trained in all aspects covering: Waxing, Skin Care, Manicures, Pedicures, Tanning etc.
Shauna is a specialist in Shellac Nails, Threading and specialist Waxing. Shauna has also undertaken Make up courses in The Makeup Room Dublin, Chleo Makeup and is constantly undertaking similar master classes.

Redz Hair Design think it is vital to support local business and community. We feel it is very important to buy local as it is good for business and most important it generates employment. Since opening we have created 7 positions of employment within our community, all of whom are living locally. We also take on numerous work experience trainees who are finding getting employment difficult, helping them gain extra experience and knowledge along with hands on experience, all done voluntarily for these students.
Deirdre believes in keeping up to date and Upskilling her team in all aspects of Hairdressing as a result our team carry out numerous courses a year averaging between 5 to 10 courses. All our stylists part-take in these extensive courses throughout the year. We feel it very important to keep education at an advanced level at all times so our Customers can gain full use of our service and to a highest levels and standards in our industry.
It is important for all our customers that we carry ourselves in a professional manner and take care in carrying out our full service.
Our target market covers a full range of clientèle from young and old. We specialize in creative Colour&Cut and especially Wedding hair and Make up. We feel, for our brides it is important that we follow the up and coming trends so we can give them exactly what they want on their big day.

We Feel very strongly about the importance to train in product knowledge carrying out training with technicians throughout the year on all products within our salon and some of which are available here in our on-line Shop, so as to give our clients an honest and professional opinion.
Just some of our goals this year are to achieve even more advanced qualifications and introducing more services to our business. Our team are further training towards entering competitions nationally and hopefully entering in them within the next year...
